Current Booking, Scheduling and Cleaning procedures

Written by Emily Rose

THESE ARE OUR CURRENT POLICIES FOR SAFETY DURING THE PANDEMIC RECOVERY PERIOD. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING.

Appointment and Booking Information:

  • In an effort to streamline the schedule and efficiently see clients, we will only be offering 1 hour appointments at this time. No other appointment lengths will be booked until further notice.

  • We will not be able to accommodate couples massage or 2 people making appointments together at this time. ( Currently Friday is the only day 2 people can come together)

  • We are temporarily suspending the following services: Hot Stone, Cupping and Cold Stone Massage

  • We have suspended stone massages because we feel the cleaning process isn’t 100% safe, and we have suspended cupping massage because we don’t yet have any research on the effect of cupping and Covid-19 ( hopefully this won't be for long).

  • Hot stone foot treatments that are part of the CBD massage will be replaced with a hot towel foot massage or the addition of essential oils to massage.

  • Cancellation Policy- We have modified our cancellation policy. We will strictly be enforcing our no-show fee of $50 as our appointment times are highly valued right now, HOWEVER, we are relaxing our cancellation policy for sickness. If you are sick, DO NOT COME IN AND PLEASE notify us. If you are sick we ask you to notify us the day before your appointment so we can rebook your time slot. Please don't just wait to see how you feel. We have limited time slots and many people who would like them.Sometimes emergencies happen, but if you feel at all questionable the day before, please cancel ahead of time. It is our responsibility to keep this space safe for everyone.

  • In the event that a therapist is feeling unwell we will notify you 24 hours before your appointment to reschedule.

  • You will be asked to sign a new waiver pertaining to Covid-19 at every treatment. We are doing our best to keep you safe, however there is an unavoidable hand-on component to our work and we want all parties involved to be as safe as possible.

  • In order to give everyone a fair chance to book, we will be limiting individuals to booking once every 2 weeks. You may add your name to a waiting list if you would like a massage before 2 weeks and we will let you know about any cancellations or if there are empty appointments.

Safety and Appointment Procedures

  • The waiting area will be closed for waiting in order to minimize unnecessary contact.

  • You may not bring anyone to your appointment. If someone comes with you they must drop you off outside.

  • No one can enter the office without a mask. Masks will be worn the entire time, except in the prone (face down) position during a massage. No mask, no massage, no exceptions.

  • Clients will need to arrive within 5 minutes of their appointment. There will be no early entrance into the office. You may not wait inside the office, even for 5 minutes. If you arrive more than five minutes earlier than your appointment you will wait outside or in your car. Please knock on the office door when you arrive within your five minute window.

  • If you arrive more than 5 minutes late for your appointment, we are not able to extend your session. We are booking with large amounts of time in between in order to have time for cleaning and to maintain social distance between clients.

  • If you are diagnosed with Covid-19 after having an appointment with us, please notify us.
  • If either therapist is diagnosed we will contact every client we have seen in the past 2 weeks.

Our Safety and Cleaning Plan

  • All doorknobs and hard surfaces will be wiped after each client leaves the office.
  • All bottles and jars will be wiped down after use. Disposable cups will be used for creams in order to limit cross-contamination
